Summer time and I am counting my blessings. First Amelia finished pre-school with grand honors. She wa the recepient of the prestigious Citizenship Award from Dodson Elementary.
She also was my companion last week as her dad went to ULL to class and her mom went to work. We had a great time of it.
Second, Nat is coming due with the third grandchild. He is supposed to arrive in July, but the doctor is rethinking his first delivery date. It could be late June...we shall see.
Third, this is absolutely the first summer I did not take or teach a class. I am still with VUB, but I am not doing anything else, but that Tuesday evenings.
Fourth, I am enjoying a bit of time away from NI with Dave. He has a conference for child welfare and attendance, so I am easing it while he is at his conference. I treated myself to a pedicure today at the mall...nice. So there, my blessings are Dave, the girls and spouses, and the gtrandchildren. Nice.
